Native American flute player Billy Whitefox shares his Creek ancestry through international recordings of Native American flute music. He is also a well-known silver/coppersmith, flute maker, and an artist of the old-style ways of dance, storytelling, leatherwork, and more. He teaches Native American Indian culture across the United States at museums and educational sites, and he works with school systems and historic groups on Creek/Native history. He also won the 2005 Native American Music Award (“Nammy”) for Flutist of the Year.
